The first meeting of the Day Dreams Foundation board is held on September 25, 2014. Founding board members included: Joe Bradley, Ellen Huch (Bradley), Elly Lang, Malloy Lang, Justin Light, Victor Tran, and Marcus Williams.

The Day Dreams Foundation Board of Directors holds its first Annual Meeting on October 20, 2014. Our 501(c)3 status was approved by the IRS on November 20, 2014.

Our Inaugural Trivia Night is held on December 6, 2014 at Columbia Country Club. The event raised $2,500 for our scholarship program.

2015
Day Dreams awards our first scholarship on March 27, 2015 to a 15-year-old named Jamir for self defense lessons and provided funds for his uniform.

2015
In Day Dreams’ first full year, we awarded scholarships to 42 kids, totaling nearly $7,500. Meetings with families took place at the Daniel Boone Regional Library.

2016
Day Dreams moves into our first office space at 200 E. Walnut Street in May 2016.

2016
The Jenny Bradley College Scholarship is established to recognize high school seniors that were impacted by extracurriculars.

2017
Day Dreams awards a scholarship to our 100th kid.

2019
Before the end of Day Dreams’ fourth full year, we crossed $100k in scholarships awarded.

2020
Tricia Koedel is hired as Program Coordinator, our first employee. She was promoted to Executive Director in 2021.

2022
Early in the year, Day Dreams crosses $200k in scholarships awarded and hires its second employee, Annmarie Athon.

2023
New office opens at One Broadway, thanks to a grant from the Veterans United Foundation. Day Dreams celebrates more than $300k awarded at an Open House.

2024
Adonica Coleman is hired as the organization’s Executive Director along with Marianna Sharbaugh as Operations Coordinator.

2025
Day Dreams crosses $500k in scholarships awarded!
